Usage:

Insurer type 2 according to EN 15151-2 valid to insure the first or second climber, in addition to rappelling. Edelrid recommends its use in alpine practices, climbing or vertical work at height . Simple and dynamic ropes according to EN 892 must be used to secure the first. Only static ropes must be used to secure the climber climbing with rope diversion (top rope) or to lower or rappel. Use with ropes from 7.8 to 10.5 mm diameter.

Its design helps braking the insurer and the simple grommet allows a second belay.
Features :
- Its design offers two securing or lowering speeds.
- Use between -30ºC and 60ºC is recommended. With occasional use without noticeable wear and in optimal storage conditions Edelrid recommends a 10-year shelf life. Warm water is recommended for cleaning.
