  • "Slim Fit" cut that conforms to the body's contours, naturally and efficiently following your movements.

Materials:

  • Main fabric composed of 88% Polyester and 12% Elastane, a blend that offers excellent moisture-wicking capacity and quick drying thanks to polyester, while elastane provides superior elasticity for total freedom of movement and a comfortable, body-hugging fit.
  • Secondary fabric of 86% Nylon and 14% Elastane, possibly used in specific panels or the waistband, where nylon provides remarkable durability and abrasion resistance, complemented by elastane to maintain flexibility and comfort. This combination is known for its lightness and shape retention.

Eco-certifications and Brand Sustainability Practices:

  • As a bluesign® system partner, Columbia works to apply this standard in its supply chain, promoting responsible resource use and the lowest possible impact on people and the environment in textile manufacturing. The bluesign® system certifies that textiles meet strict safety and environmental performance criteria.
  • The brand adheres to a Restricted Substances List (RSL), which implies rigorous control to limit the use of potentially harmful chemicals in its products, benefiting consumer health and the ecosystem.
  • Columbia uses Solution Dyeing (Dope Dye / "Colored with Less Water") processes in the manufacturing of some of its products, a technique that significantly reduces water, energy, and chemical consumption compared to traditional dyeing methods, thereby decreasing the water and chemical footprint.
  • The brand implements its Manufacturing Practices Standards (SMP) and uses tools like the Higg Index (Facility Environmental Module - FEM) and the Social & Labor Converged Assessment Framework (SLCP) to ensure fair labor conditions and improve environmental performance in its supply chain.
  • Through its Material Traceability Program, Columbia aims to increase transparency regarding the origin of its components, enabling more conscious and responsible sourcing.
  • Additionally, the brand is part of various industry alliances such as the AFIRM Group (Apparel and Footwear International RSL Management Group), the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) Climate Action Corps, and collaborates with the Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) on programs like Clean by Design. It supports social initiatives like RISE (formerly HERproject), promotes circularity with its ReThreads Program, and adheres to transparency and responsible recruitment commitments such as the Transparency Pledge and the AAFA & FLA Commitment to Responsible Recruitment. The brand has also signed the Turkmen Cotton Pledge, rejecting cotton obtained through forced labor. Its commitment to sustainability is reflected in its alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), the use of Open Supply Hub (OSH), the publication of its Supply Chain Transparency Statement (complying with California SB 657 and UK Modern Slavery Act), its adherence to SASB reporting standards, and its collaborations with the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) and foundations such as Planet Water Foundation, National Park Foundation, Conservation International, Captains For Clean Water, and Ocean Conservancy.
