Insurer made of one piece of light steel. For ropes from 7.8 to 11 mm in diameter and valid to secure a first or rappel.
Use:

Type 2 belay device according to EN 15151-2, suitable for belaying the lead climber and for rappelling. Edelrid recommends its use for sport climbing. For belaying the lead climber, dynamic single ropes according to EN 892 must be used. Static ropes should only be used for belaying a climber on a top rope, or for lowering or rappelling. Use with ropes from 7.8 to 11 mm in diameter.

- Holding the device in the open position with the thumb allows rope to be paid out quickly and effortlessly.

- Recommended use between -30°C and 60°C. With occasional use without perceptible wear and under optimal storage conditions, Edelrid recommends a lifespan of 10 years. For cleaning, warm water is recommended.
